Lucid Toons is your monthly animation fix, bringing animated films to Carbon Arc Cinema. Lucid Toons is a spin-off of Carbon Arc’s annual Animation Festival of Halifax (AFX), which occurs each year in May!

The opening short film is provided courtesy of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB).

DJ always knew there was something strange about the forbidding old Nebbercracker house across the street. When the house becomes a living, breathing monster, DJ enlists his pals Chowder and Jenny to learn the secrets of what it is that somehow brought the house to life. Suddenly, they find themselves in a hair-raising battle with an unstoppable entity and together, they must save their neighborhood from total devastation.
