Short Doc Synopsis: Head inside the basement of Halifax’s Natural History Museum and four nights a week, you can catch a movie at Carbon Arc Cinema. Despite the rise of digital streaming, the non-profit is in its sixteenth year and seeing its highest attendance levels ever. In this short documentary for CBC Creator Network, Gareth Wasylynko explores what makes Carbon Arc endure.
The short documentary will precede an Open Community Consultation moderated by Carbon Arc Managing Director Alice Body and Network of Independent Canadian Exhibitors (NICE) director and Carbon Arc Strategic Planning Consultant Sonya Yokota William.
